Dr Charlie Kong has been helping patients for over 10 years. He earned his degree from the University of Queensland and has since practiced in Brisbane, Adelaide and has been in Melbourne since 2020.
One of his favourite things about his job is connecting with patients and delivering the dental care they most need and desire. Having himself some dental anxiety, he understands how to help with techniques such as oral and inhalation sedation (happy gas) and working with an anaesthetic team if required (sleep dentistry). He believes that everyone deserves to be comfortable and supported in the dental chair.
Dr Charlie has a wide scope of practice, regularly attending courses to perform dental implants, cosmetic dental treatment including veneers, dental sleep management and biologic dentistry. He is an active member of the ADA, APS, AOS and ITI.
When not working, you may find Charlie playing in the area with his two daughters and lovely wife or running with their border collie. He enjoys construction, skiing, cycling and is always up for a chat about any cooking recipes to try over the weekend.
